As the name suggests, the Root Chakra is situated around the build of the thorn in the genital region and its’ energy extends down, like roots, through the legs and feet to dealings the concrete earth below.

It is the slowest poignant Chakra, involving to our survival desires, and is therefore the foundation of the Chakra technique in the body. The affect associated is red, and thus represents the Martian energy desirable to keep us active.
